Softswitch

The GlobalTouch Softswitch is an integral part of our VoIP in a box solution. It was specifically designed by us to enable carriers, MSOs and resellers to deliver revenue rich applications and offer superior Quality of Service (QoS).

Because we developed our own Softswitch, we have complete control over upgrading and maintenance and pay no licensing fees. Optimized for a converged, broadband environment, the Softswitch is a flexible, scalable platform with which you can deploy the latest next-generation applications today and then leverage the same platform to deliver additional services as needed tomorrow.

Scalability

Scalability was one of our major considerations when we developed our Softswitch. Though this required a more expensive, lengthier development period, this investment in time and know-how is paying off in the long run by making our VoIP platform a much faster, more scalable solution. This adaptive growth capability also makes our product more cost effective when compared to our competitors'.

We built our Softswitch technology to handle thousands of users on a single server. This was achieved by optimizing both the overall system architecture and each single component of it. During our lab tests we keenly monitored statistical data related to system performance. Our architecture proved so solid in stress tests that we could not generate enough load to push the system to its limit!

Redundancy

We have implemented many technological solutions to provide higher reliability. Our system has built-in self-monitoring and self-healing functionality. This is achieved by processes that monitor all major product functions and take appropriate automatic actions if something goes wrong. Besides attempting to repair the problem, they also notify admin personnel about the potential problem and what actions have been performed.
