GlobalTouch Telecom CEO to Participate in Service Provider Shoot Out at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2007
Gregory O. Welch to serve as keynote panelist on Service Provider Shoot Out

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 17, 2007) — GlobalTouch Telecom, Inc., a leading provider of vertically-integrated VoIP platforms, today announced that Gregory O. Welch, CEO, has accepted an invitation to participate in the Service Provider Shoot Out at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2007 on Thursday, January 25 at 4:15 P.M. at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. GlobalTouch Telecom will also be showcasing it’s suite of ASP VoIP Solution products and services, at booth 1017.

The Service Provider Shoot Out is a panel discussion made up of the industry's leading experts aimed at exploring the market and finding out exactly where we stand today. Mr. Welch will explore next generation solutions, including the latest developments, a glimpse into the future, and some real-life implementations. Topics will range to include net neutrality, the latest government regulations, competitive pressures, the advent of fixed/mobile convergence and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), wireless considerations such as WiFi and WiMAX, IPTV, and Triple Play strategies, and so much more. It’s an exciting time — and a challenging time — to be a service provider in today’s climate.

“I am excited to have this opportunity to speak with my peers regarding the issues that telecom service providers are facing in today’s hyper-competitive marketplace,“ said Gregory O. Welch, CEO at GlobalTouch Telecom. “I am looking forward to sharing our experiences as a leading VoIP service provider, as well as providing insight into what we can expect to see in the year to come. We wholeheartedly believe that 2007 will be a year in which we will see the proliferation of VoIP products and services like never before, including the addition of many converged applications and services.”

INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO, held January 23-26, 2007, is the world’s largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. Last October, the show drew over 8,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services to San Diego, California. For this upcoming January show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 9,000.
