A Hosted VoIP PBX solution from GlobalTouch is more flexible, scalable and easier to maintain. Adding new users or new features does not require on-site hardware changes. By strictly adhering to the SIP standard, our PBX allows real time communications across many applications, like our Softphone, which can also be used for videoconferencing.

Other cutting edge VoIP services and applications that our PBX enables includes the ability to listen to an e-mail on a handheld device on the go; or perhaps forwarding an important voice mail as an attachment.

The point is that voice, fax, e-mail, Internet and video conference are no longer “fixed” to locations but are part of an end user’s repertoire of communications. In this way VoIP is dramatically improving productivity, and reducing the cost of doing business.

Other VoIP solutions that are available include for example "remote interactive communications" with field sales and service personnel. In this case, the user will have a Softphone on a notebook computer that is integrated into MS Outlook contacts. The user can then click on a contact in Outlook to instantly dial the number, or send a fax. This way documents, addresses, contracts, etc. can be delivered from field sales people using a WiFi mobile device (PDA or notebook) to the home office.

By the same token the home office can return, e.g. invoices or contracts that have been approved. This way a contract negotiation or service call can be completed with considerable speed and efficiency. All these features add up to new revenue streams for our reseller, MSO and carrier customers who deploy the GlobalTouch VoIP PBX.
