Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation?
A: GlobalTouch Telecom is the industry’s leading provider of hosted “White Labeled” Voice and Video over Internet Protocol (V-VoIP) services to local and international CLECs, telephone companies, cable system operators, and marketing organizations since 2002.
Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry?
A: GlobalTouch Telecom has developed a unique and innovative approach to the ASP model for hosted VoIP, and as a result, the company is now partnered with some of the largest participants in the telecommunication and cable industries. Our application services business has grown more than 300% in the past year. This success is the result of a model that is more affordable, easier to implement and results in higher revenues and margins for customers. In addition, our technical philosophy has allowed us to create VoIP services that are technologically advanced and yet interoperable with the SIP standard. The GlobalTouch model proves definitively that hosted services is a cost-effective alternative to investing huge sums in capital and operating costs, and worth serious consideration by anyone considering such deployments.
Q: What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced in the marketplace?
A: As a relatively new company , access to cooperative and industry organizations within certain vertical market segments are the current challenge, but these barriers are rapidly being addressed as GlobalTouch earns a reputation for high quality, excellent value, and unsurpassed integrity.
Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward?
A: Our challenges typically are linked to customers who want to maintain old ways and old systems. Legacy systems are comfortable whereas new and innovative approaches may be challenging. Ensuring that real value and impact on the bottom line are available from the GlobalTouch model is critical is addressing these apprehensions. Once a customer embraces the new technology and methods and recognizes the tremendous difference in bottom line potential, they are ready to part with old habits and embrace the future.
Q: What have been some of your company’s most recent achievements?
A: We have been successful in every vertical marketplace in which we have offered our products and services, and have recently made significant headway in the cable vertical.
